Frontier Capital Granted CPD Accreditation

London, UK

11 May 2009

Frontier Capital Management LLP (“Frontier”), a specialist multi-asset investment company, has been granted CPD Accreditation by the Institute of Financial Planning (IFP) for its two educational seminars.

The Four Pillars of Investing” provides an insight into key investment issues including the significance of time horizon when investing, strategic asset allocation as the main driver of portfolio return and risk, the importance of diversification and active vs passive investing.

Frontier’s “Hedge Fund Masterclass” is an educational seminar about hedge funds and what they can bring to diversified portfolios.  The presentation discusses the benefits and drawbacks of hedge fund investing as well as looking at the sources of hedge fund returns and how to capture them efficiently.

Both seminars will sit within the technical knowledge area of the IFP’s CPD programme and attendance at each presentation will accrue 2.5 points.  Currently, members are required to earn 50 points each year, with CFP Professionals and Fellows requiring 75 points.

Mike Azlen CFP, Frontier Capital Management Founder and CEO, states “Frontier has always placed a high importance on education and we are pleased to be given this recognition and the opportunity to support the IFP in the professional development of UK IFAs and Financial Planners.”

Nick Cann, IFP CEO adds “We’re really excited about our new scheme which helps members to access quality CPD relevant to their needs, as they develop their skills and knowledge. We’re working on a fantastic new online system that will be available soon and will make it easy for members to see the range of opportunities available not just from the IFP but from other providers too.”

Each Frontier seminar is held monthly at Frontier’s office in Berkeley Square, London.  Places are limited and reservations are essential.

If you are interested in attending either of the seminars or if you would like further information on Frontier Capital Management, please contact Nicola Vallance at Vallance@FrontierCM.com or on +44 207 315 6915.
